We’re a Tomball-headquartered, family-run roofing company with GAF-certified installers and a crew that lives in the same neighborhoods we work in. For twenty-nine years, Houston-area homeowners have called us for storm damage, replacements, and roofs that last another Gulf Coast summer.
The CK Roofing Story
CK Roofing was founded in 1997 by Chris Konikowski — a Houston firefighter who started doing roof work between shifts to help neighbors after hailstorms. What began as weekend repair jobs out of Tomball turned into a full crew the next year, and the company has been operating under the same ownership ever since.
Twenty-nine years later, we’re still based at 715 East Main St., Suite #500, Tomball, TX 77375 — about a mile from the Burroughs Park where Chris grew up. The firefighter instinct carried over to the way the business runs: show up when you say you will, don’t walk off the roof until the job is done, and treat the house like the people inside it have to live there tomorrow.

Chris has been in construction in Harris County since 1997 and still rides out on major storm-response calls personally. He’s a Houston firefighter and a GAF-certified roofing contractor. If you’re on a repair or a replacement and want the owner on the walkthrough, ask when you book — he does them.
Chris takes pride in the exceptional roofing services his team provides. Life on the coast has given him a passion for quick, efficient, and transparent repairs to storm-damaged homes. Currently a Houston firefighter, Chris is not afraid of hard work. It’s not unusual to see him up on the roof helping the team get the job done. It’s this earnest determination and strong work ethic that sets CK Roofing apart from the rest.

If we uncover problems with your roof that will take longer to fix than we initially estimated, we will explain the situation right away and get your approval before expanding the scope of work. CK Roofing is a GAF-certified roofing contractor, which means our installers have been factory-trained on GAF shingle systems and our installations are eligible for GAF’s enhanced manufacturer warranties. Fewer than three percent of roofers in North America hold GAF credentialing.
